The Importance of this Program
Millions of children in schools enjoy music each day by learning to play an instrument or singing in a chorus. In March, musicians and music teachers celebrate Music in Our Schools Month sponsored by the National Association for Music Education.
Music In Our Schools Month celebrates all the good things of having quality music education programs in schools and encourages districts to keep musical programs going in spite of the budget being low.
Music education supporters support the importance of introducing young children to a variety of instruments, choir groups, and styles of music to increase their educational experience in music.
Why you should support this program?
Music programs all around the country are in danger. State and local legislators are trying to cut the education budget by about 4.1 billion dollars to pay for other necessary funds.
Cutting the budget in education can affect the music programs because music is apart of education and the same rules apply. Please join a musical group or if you can donate to the program. Making music by singing or playing an instrument is priceless and we want to keep it that way.

How can you help out in this program?
You can help out by joining any music program in your area or join or donate to the National Association for Music Education. You can also visit their website at www.nafme.org.
This program is very important and we cannot let this go buy without help from people who actually care and take time for music. Please support the music program in march and help get the music in our schools program back on its feet.
